My Take on the Book

I enjoy cooking and baking, but have to say that I have never been very creative when it comes to cakes. Give me a 9x13 pan and a tub of frosting and I am there. This book though has opened my eyes to the possibilities that are out there that are not too difficult that will make your cakes simply stand out in a crowd. A few of the recipes that I particularly liked was the candy cane cake as well as the wreath and Rudolph cake. Now granted, some of the cakes have a few more steps than others, but they are definitely not as time intensive than what I would have expected in the past.

I now see what I will be practicing this holiday season. What will you be doing?
