Book Review - Isabella: Star of the Story

About the Book
Every day's an adventure with Isabella!

Isabella checks out the library, and steals the spotlight from some of the most memorable children's book characters. She's Alice, tumbling down the rabbit hole. No, now she's Peter Pan, flying off to Never Never Land. And when it's finally time to follow the yellow brick road home, she decides she's happy just being Isabella, the little purple-haired girl with a lot of books and even more imagination.

About the Author
Jennifer Fosberry is a science geek turned children’s book writer. After running away to Costa Rica for a few years, she returned to the San Francisco Bay area with her husband and three children to read, write, and try to get out of doing housework.

About the Illustrator
Mike Litwin is a New York Times bestselling illustrator who creates scenes that serve the imagination and education of children. In other words, he’s a big kid who draws pictures for a living. He currently lives in Greenville, NC with his wife and three daughters.

My Take on the Book
My daughters love Isabella and we have been lucky enough to experience all of her stories to date and all seem to get even better than the next. What we love in this and all Isabella stories is the great collaboration between author and illustrator as the story and pictures go together so well! All-in-all this is a great story that the whole family will love to read over and over again (at least mine did)!
