Charlie Bone and the Time Twister

About the Book
The second book in the stunning repackage of the NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY bestselling Children of the Red King series!

Time travel, a mystery from the past, and danger around every corner . . .

Charlie Bone hopes that the new term at Bloor's Academy will hold no unwelcome surprises. But then his distant relative Henry Yewbeam appears out of thin air, twisted through time from 1916 by Henry's wicked cousin, Ezekiel Bloor. Ezekiel, who is still alive, still nasty, and now ancient, vows to track Henry down and get rid of him once and for all. And with Charlie's scheming Yewbeam aunts also on the prowl, Henry desperately needs Charlie's help just to stay alive. Can Charlie and his friends send Henry back in time before it's too late?

My Take on the Book
This was a great second book in the series! I really liked the first book and this one was different, but just as good in my perspective. I have read other books that compare this book to Harry Potter books, and seeing that I read all of that series too, I would have to say that there are some similarities to the fantasy you see in this series. You also have strong characters that the reader can identify with, or at least I could. I loved the adventure and the twists and turns in this book. The book overall was a great read and one that I would recommend. It also is a series that I am excited to continue and have already put the third book on hold from our local library!
