My Take on the Book
Diane Cardaci has included all the important steps and tips one would want to use in drawing faces and expressions. She includes two pages which show the necessary materials one would need in order to draw a human face successfully too.

The artist illustrates the importance of using basic shapes in drawing. Those basic shapes are the sphere, cylinder, block , and wedge.

As the reader continues through each section, the author assists the reader with accurately drawing eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hands and even hair. Diane uses diagrams and photographs throughout her book with accompanying text.

I feel if you are serious about learning to draw faces and expressions, you will find Diane Cardaci's book a valuable resource.
