My Take on the Book
Laura Godwin has written a sturdy board book about the job of being a firefighter. The rhyming text is perfect for a young child to enjoy. Julian Hector illustrated the story with lots of color and details.
I believe your child will enjoy seeing all the facets of a firefighters life at the fire station. The reader will learn the challenges facing our brave firefighters when there is an emergency. The story is a nice introduction to a firefighters work.
