About the Book
Our biggest, busiest doodle book to date! Super Doodles is packed with more than 200 wacky illustrations that are only partly finished. Something important (and probably pretty silly) is missing, and it's up to the pens and pencils of imaginative young doodlers to:
  • Decide who just arrived on the red carpet
  • Doodle what the Loch Ness Monster keeps in her lair
  • Imagine what garden gnomes like to chat about
  • Prepare a meal for a hungry monster
No artistic talent needed, just a big imagination, a great sense of humor, and something to draw with! This overflowing little book is thick but compact. Sturdy pages and spiral binding make it rugged enough to handle getting tossed into a backpack, crammed into an overnight bag, or thrown into the backseat of the car to keep kids giggling during road trips, sleepovers, or any other time the doodle bug hits. (Ages 7+)

My Take on the Book
Some doodle books seem to put their focus on the young child.I feel this doodle book is more appropriate for an older child who enjoys drawing and creating. On each page or pair of pages is an incomplete drawing. The child reads the description of the theme and finishes the picture in their own way.

For example: there is a drawing of knights heading to a castle and your child is asked to draw the castle, another page shows a very cute monster with a bib, knife and fork looking at an empty bowl and your child is asked to draw the monster's meal, and another example shows one superhero flying through the air and your child is asked to draw more superheroes.

I see hours of enjoyment using this book. I believe it would make a great gift with some nice new pencils.
