About the Book
Everybody needs a role model! Discover true stories of superstars, war heroes, world leaders, gusty gals, and everyday women who changed the world. From Sacagawea to Mother Teresa, Annie Oakley to Malala Yousafzai, these famous women hiked up their pants and petticoats and charged full-speed ahead to prove girls are just as tough as boys...maybe even tougher. Complete with amazing images and a fun design, this is the book that every kid with a goal, hope, or dream will want to own.

My Take on the Book
As a father of girls I want my girls growing up with great examples of heroes. However, I want them to have a mix of both men and women that can show heroism to them in different ways. This book was a great example of heroines that all parents would be proud to share with their kids. These amazing women changed history in their own way and through short snippets this book allows readers to get behind the scenes with these characters to be able to get to know them and their character, as well as what makes/made them great. This was a great book, filled with amazing information and even better images. My daughters have loved reading through this and I actually could not get them to put it down! Learn about some amazing women in this inspiring read!
